Acceptable Use Policy
Operated by Ebenworks Systems (Pvt) Ltd · accounts.ebstar.co · Last updated 24 June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do when using Ebenworks Accounts and the Ebenworks family of products, operated by Ebenworks Systems (Pvt) Ltd (“Ebenworks”, “we”, “us”). It forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies in addition to any product-specific rules.
You must not
- Break the law — use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or that infringes others’ rights (including intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights).
- Attack or abuse the system — attempt unauthorised access to accounts, data or infrastructure; probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission; or defeat, bypass or overload authentication, rate limits or other security controls.
- Disrupt the service — launch denial-of-service attacks, send malware, or otherwise interfere with the integrity, performance or availability of the service or other users’ use of it.
- Misuse accounts — share, sell or transfer credentials, impersonate others, create accounts by automated means, or register using information you are not entitled to use.
- Scrape or harvest — use bots, scrapers or other automated means to extract data or content except through interfaces we provide for that purpose and within their documented limits.
- Abuse messaging — use the service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messages, or to harass, threaten or harm others.
- Reverse engineer — decompile or reverse engineer the service except to the limited extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction.
- Misrepresent — falsely state or imply that you are affiliated with, or endorsed by, Ebenworks.
Responsible security research
We welcome good-faith security research. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it privately to legal@ebstar.co and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before any disclosure. Do not access or modify data that is not yours, and do not degrade the service for others while testing.
Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may remove offending content, throttle, suspend or terminate your access, and — where appropriate — notify the relevant authorities. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice; serious or ongoing abuse may warrant immediate action. Suspension or termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.
Reporting abuse
To report a violation of this policy, email legal@ebstar.co with enough detail for us to investigate.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
